The sneeze…The sore throat…The cough…you know it’s coming…cold and flu season. Boy it hit my household hard this week. My body fought valiantly, but after a week of getting coughed and sneezed on by my 5-year-old I finally went down for the count. Of course mom said, “make sure you eat lots of chicken noodle soup and drink liquids.” My sister said, “make sure you drink lots of hot water with lemon, garlic, honey, and a pinch of cayenne.” I’ve actually found both of these recommendations to be quite helpful these past few days. Everyone has their favorite “go-to” get better remedy this time of the year, please share yours!
