The first attempt at something can be very intimidating. I had seen cute little diaper cakes at baby showers that I attended but thought nothing of creating one until our dear co-worker and friend’s baby shower came around. I thought, why not? 3 hours into the process, I was about to give up. Who cares?! Just give her the diapers! But, after a cup of coffee and a stern lecture to myself about not giving up, I pulled through and it turned out not too bad. She loved it and even put it in the nursery, awaiting to be torn into in the near future when a diaper is actually needed. Hang in there. Sometimes we pull a win out of an almost defeat!
