Some of the most meaningful decisions are ones that aren’t dramatic, don’t get a lot of attention, but are the ones that impact the longest. Like making that new friend–or letting go of a negative person in your life. Trying out that new thing, or reaching out to an old friend.
The tower project has been one of those types of decisions for KTSY. It’s not an attention grabber. It’s not exciting. It’s a lot of geek-ness. And, without it, KTSY was in danger of not being on air. KTSY’s signal was compromised. And KTSY continued to be at risk to NOT share the hope of Jesus.
Last week and this week, our tower crew, engineering team, and even some staff have been involved in moving off an old antenna, repairing our antenna, and moving to a new tower that has so many benefits–like not being hit by hatchback sized chunks of ice.
Like many projects, this one has had a lot of setbacks. So, we didn’t wrap up in a week and Twin Falls’ tower week will come later this year. BUT, we are just about ready to swap back from our backup site and experience the upgrades.
So, thank you for your prayers, and financial support. All of this is to protect the message of Jesus’ hope coming through KTSY day in and day out. That way it’s there when you need it most.
