The Olympics are here! It’s the time to cheer for the athletes with Idaho ties, the ones who know people that you know, or just see events that you don’t see people competing in any other time. As cool as it is to see these athletes performing at their best, there are regular, every day kind of folks like you and me who really deserve a medal for the things they do in life.
Parents are amazing.
The things they do day in and day out to help raise the next generation to be the best they can takes a lot of work, training, making mistakes, getting back in there and trying again.
It would be the best thing to be able to give you a medal!
A bronze medal for driving a huge distance to school because you found a place that supports and encourages your kid to be the best they can be!
A silver medal for being the best at playing board games, especially the part where you referee the kids when they are little and learning sportsmanship!
A gold medal for being up late, with them, working on projects that you spent time reminding them about ahead of time. But here you are, in the middle of the night, still helping and supporting!
And finally, a gold medal or two for barefoot lego-walking, especially as they get older. The pieces get smaller and the pain gets more intense!
Is there something I’m forgetting? What would you earn a medal for if there was a Parenting Olympics?! You can share by commenting or calling/texting the studio 888.248.5879
