This year has been full of challenges for many of us. Some within our community are facing additional hardships in increased unemployment, homelessness, and addiction.

There are many organizations on the front lines of meeting the needs within our community, offering necessities like meals and clothing as well as resources to begin a new life. But this year has placed challenges on them as well.

As the Holidays are right around the corner, it can be overwhelming for those facing the uncertainty of how to provide for their families. We want to put hope into action and share it with those in our community, leaving no one in need.

Together with the KTSY Family, Project 88.7, KIDO, and KTVB we are setting a goal to collect 10,000 turkeys for the Boise Rescue Mission in the Treasure Valley and Salvation Army, Mustard Seed, Victory Home, Valley House, and Idaho Blessings Closet in Twin Falls.

Here’s how you can help: During November, purchase a $20 turkey voucher at any Treasure Valley or Magic Valley Walmart, to bring a meal to a family for Christmas.
