“And I will restore to you the years that the locust have eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.“ – Joel 2:26
I read this verse recently, and it was a reminder of just how good and loving our God truly is. We serve a God who redeems, and restores, and doesn’t want us to miss out on a single blessing that He has in store for us. Even our own failures and wanderings, and “squanderings” can’t stand in the way of God’s goodness. Yet another reason we have to REJOICE!
